500 Copenhagen Retailers Join Youth-Led Drug Campaign in Scientology-Endorsed Anti-Drug Campaign

Teen volunteers from the Truth About Drugs initiative in Denmark have mobilized in the city of Copenhagen to spread factual drug education materials across over 500 retail locations. Their outreach, which is backed by the Church of Scientology, continues a decades-old tradition to raise awareness about drug risks among youth.

Over the course of this year, young Scientology-affiliated activists aged 10–20 visited local retailers to encourage them to display copies of *The Truth About Drugs* booklet. The materials — produced by the global Truth About Drugs campaign — offer clear information on the dangers of drug use, including cannabis, alcohol abuse, and synthetic substances.

Recent statistics support the urgency of their mission. A new report by the Danish Drug Research Center revealed that cannabis use among 15–25-year-olds has fallen from 44% to just over 31% in the last ten years. Among young men, use dropped from more than half to one-third.
